7th Annual P4P Games and Silent Auction

People's Community Clinic is Looking For a Few Good Tricyclists... (and Possibly a Few Scooter Riders As Well)

Yes, you read that correctly - tricyclists, not tri-athletes.

People's Community Clinic and the People4People Games is scouring the Austin area looking for teams comprised of the greatest tricyclists, crawlers, potato sack racers, and chlorine water rafters this town has to offer. At stake, the P4P crown and a chance to help out an Austin institution.

Unlike other Austin competitive events, no real skill or athletic ability is necessary - just a great sense of humor, a desire to give back to the community, nine friends, and, perhaps, a set of water wings.

Be A Part of Something Fun For a Great Cause!

People's Community Clinic and the P4P organizers are currently working overtime to sign up teams to compete in this year's events.

- Community teams can register to participate for $500 (only $50 per team member)

- Participants must be at least 18 years of age

- Team sign-up ends Friday, October 13, 2006

The P4P Games:

When: October 22, 2006
Time: 10 am to 2:30 pm

Where: Dell Jewish Community Campus

People4People (P4P) Games is a fundraiser and fun fest benefiting the People's Community Clinic. Started in 2000 by an energetic group of volunteers, P4P has raised close to $400,000 for People's Community Clinic, ensuring that the 11,000 patients who call the Clinic their medical home continue to receive quality health care.

There is a strong sense of hilarity, lots of fun, and some fierce competition - all for a good cause. Teams of ten compete in a wacky Olympics consisting of six events, each more "challenging" than the next.

The Kick-off Party and Silent Auction

When: Thursday, October 19, 2006, 6pm-10pm

Where: Opal Divine's, Penn Field Complex, 3601 South Congress (K100)

Another great part of People4People is the kickoff party and Silent auction. Bid on great items like tickets to The Backyard and One World Theater, studio recording time at Wire Recording and more!
